Grease Interceptor / FOG Approval — City of Marietta
Marietta restaurants must install an approved grease interceptor and comply with the Marietta Water grease control program before connecting to the sewer.
Overview
Grease traps/interceptors are required for all food-preparation establishments in Marietta that may discharge oil or grease. Marietta Water — Environmental Compliance (Grease Control program) inspects 315+ facilities citywide and reviews interceptor design and sizing for approval, using sizing criteria adopted from the Cobb County Water System.
Non-compliant or undersized traps may have to be modified or replaced. Keep pump-out manifests as proof for inspectors.

The document(s) you upload for this requirement, with automatic renewal/expiration tracking (Current, Due Soon, Expired). Where the city publishes health-inspection results (e.g., NYC and Chicago), SpoonSeal syncs them automatically; elsewhere they can be added manually.
